Dyersvillage.com is your local source for information for Dyersville and the surrounding area. We report on local news, sports, people, issues, and community events. Launched in 2014, Dyersvillage.com was founded by husband and wife team, Matt and Megan Vorwald. (See below for full bios.)

Matt Vorwald

Matt founded Webtech of Iowa in 2000 where he has served area businesses with their computer and website needs. Developing business relationships inspired Matt to have his own news website. Matt’s extensive knowledge in the IT world and business connections makes him a great asset to Dyersvillage.com serving as the Information Systems and Business Development Director.

Megan Vorwald

Megan earned her degree in Media Studies and Public Relations from Loras College. During her time at Loras, she reported for her college television station and newspaper. In addition, she interned at KCRG working in both the Dubuque and Cedar Rapids news bureaus. For the last five years, she has worked in media sales at Lamar Advertising and TH Media. In these positions, she consulted and collaborated with her clients to develop and launch their advertising campaigns.

Megan’s natural curiosity for what is happening in her community inspires her to be the pulse and voice of Dyersville and the surrounding area. Megan looks forward to serving her community and developing relationships with her readers.
